§ 2. Terms of Network Use

Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) use in the apartment is free of charge and intended exclusively for guests staying there during their stay.
By logging in, the Guest accepts these rules and agrees to use the Internet in accordance with these regulations and Polish law.
Users using the Wi-Fi network agree not to use it in any way that could disrupt the network infrastructure or other users.
Internet access is provided exclusively via wireless (Wi-Fi) in the 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz bands (standard: 802.11b/g/n/ax).
This service is provided via a fiber-optic (FTTH) connection.
The maximum download and upload speeds in the "Okopowa apt Wi-Fi" network are symmetrically limited to 100 Mbps (download/upload). The amount of data sent and downloaded is not limited, but details of all transfers may be monitored.
To maintain the privacy of your communications, we recommend using encrypted VPN connections.
It is possible to purchase additional access to the "premium internet" service – a dedicated Wi-Fi network: "Okopowa apt Wi-Fi premium" with a higher speed limit of up to 500 Mbps (upload/download). The "premium internet" service is subject to the provisions of these terms and conditions.
The network administrator reserves the right to monitor network traffic and block devices violating the above rules without notice.

§ 3. Liability and Prohibitions

When using the Wi-Fi network, it is specifically prohibited to install, run, or share any services or applications that perform server functions, including:
- HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and proxy servers,
- file sharing systems (e.g., NAS and P2P servers in host mode),
- games and applications operating in server or host mode,
- other services that listen on open ports and allow incoming connections.
The following is also prohibited:
- downloading, uploading, and sharing illegal content and materials that infringe copyright (e.g., via P2P networks, torrents),
- activities that compromise network security (phishing, hacking, spamming),
- activities aimed at circumventing the prohibitions of these Terms and Conditions, in particular by tunneling traffic or using non-standard ports (client VPN connections from user end devices are encouraged),
- performing other activities that may be considered potentially dangerous to the operation of the network and its users.
The Administrator is not responsible for the Guest's activities on the network or for the content they download and upload.
The Guest bears sole civil and criminal liability for any violations of law.

§ 4. Technical Issues and Security

User activities may be monitored (TCP/IP connections, including DNS, VoIP), and some websites or connections may be blocked/unavailable.
The Administrator makes every effort to ensure the network operates smoothly, but does not guarantee consistent speed or signal reliability (e.g., in the event of an Internet service provider outage).
Guest use of the network is at their own risk. The Administrator is not responsible for protecting Guest devices (smartphones, laptops) against malware.
Any attempts to interfere with the LAN network (e.g., cabling), including attempts to connect unauthorized devices to the network using an RJ45/SFP cable, are monitored and subject to a PLN 1,000 fine per incident.
Persistent attempts to connect to other Wi-Fi networks not shared with the user are monitored and subject to a PLN 1,000 fine per incident.
Resets, attempts to reconfigure, or hack network devices are monitored and subject to a PLN 1,000 fine per incident.
Violations of these Terms and Conditions (in particular, actions inconsistent with Polish law) will result in immediate blocking of the customer's device without prior notice and the inability to continue using the services.
Actions violating Polish law will be reported to Polish authorities (Police, CSIRT NASK).
Refunds or compensation for blocked internet access will not be granted.

§ 5. Reporting Violations of Terms and Conditions
